Thought I had escaped it when I reinstalled the game, but the errors came back and now I can't login at all again after teleporting to Yanxia. It'd be really nice if Square Enix actually cared about doing anything to fix this.

yeah I've tried everything but reinstalling since my internet is crap (it would take days)
I hope a fix gets out quickly, if at all.
I know im hijacking the thread, but i plus several others have the same issue. and the issue has been widespread since late 2017. Not sure why a fix has not been applied. As for the fix that seems to work. It seems like its from aftermarket Graphics cards that come Overclocked out of the box. If you down clock your GPU to stock speeds, it seems to fix the issue. Look up on youtube how to do this.
I am begging you square. Please fix this issue. It is getting rather ridiculous at this point.
After today's patch, my game broke again and crashed on trying to login. Reinstalling the game again and hoping for the best. Always fun playing the "What part of the game did this patch break?" game.
My game's crashing as well due to the DX11 issue. If I go to the Aesthetician or character creation, the game crashes. I've had quite a few issues with XIV lately that have affected my gameplay, this is getting ridiculous SE.
Mine isn't an aftermarket card and I have not overclocked anything. I hope my thread still actually gets a reply from the mods after so many people have hijacked this thread. Please ignore other comments except for mine. I have updated my original post to include the other things I have triedI know im hijacking the thread, but i plus several others have the same issue. and the issue has been widespread since late 2017. For me took 5 back up copies and moving it to external hard drive to finally fix the dx11 errors. My last back up copy from 1.0 final stopped the dx11 error I was getting few months ago. They started right after they brought out the Nier raid.

Today just got a dx11 error when entered Lakeland flying from another area instant crash of the game. They better fix them because I have already used up all my back up copies from fixing dx11 errors last time got them. Everything on my pc up to date and nothing new been added or updated on my pc. So its on there end somewhere. My guess something with last patch they did causing them to happen again to me. Think figured out what caused them for me area I left was sunny and area that caused the dx11 errors was raining. Maybe its the wet textures that causing them for me since this is fist time been in area that's been raining since last update.

It really doesn't matter if the mods reply; their advice isn't going to fix the issue, because the issue lies with the game. The only way these threads might matter at all is if any of this information gets to the devs, but there's nothing to indicate that is being done.Mine isn't an aftermarket card and I have not overclocked anything. I raised a new thread as the mods only seem to reply to new posts, they said:It really doesn't matter if the mods reply; their advice isn't going to fix the issue, because the issue lies with the game. Goof afternoon and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
I do apologize for the delay in my response to your concern. Using the A drive for Final Fantasy XIV looks a bit odd. You may want to uninstall the game and reinstall it on the same drive as Steam since that is what is used to launch the game.
Additionally, the error you receiving can be cause by a variety of problems. Because of that, it can be difficult to find the exact cause of it. As it looks as though you have ran through all of our trouble shooting, I am unable to suggest anything else. I advise to submit a bug report if you believe the issue to be a bug.
Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums."
They then closed the thread...
To answer, If they read everything properly, it is installed on the A drive because I had reinstalled there instead of the same drive steam is installed to see if that helped with the issue.
I already have reported as a bug but you don't get any reply or updates after reporting and nothing seems to come of it....
Can a mod, please confirm this is being looked into and give an update on a resolution.
