Honestly, I kind of get it. As much as I like Y'shtola, I get the impression that we have more of a strong bond of camaraderie, and I doubt that'll change any time soon. I think I've known this for a while, but I just never wanted to believe it.FBI-chan said i got a pass coz im a lalafell xD
on a serious note. im kinda an expert in this kind of stuff, so lemme share my findings to you all...
the game itself lacking in "fan-made mature graphical content", which is telling something. even a niche game have much more "tags" than all FF entries combined.
in this game somehow its hard for my brain to imagine a female character getting intimate with wol, and only see them as my comrade or my children instead a potential lover. and that's why i think, most people see their own WoL as their waifu instead.
btw, can you believe it?? we are below pokemon and minecraft?? for real yoshida, smh my head...

That is how I view my character's interactions with Y'shtola too, tbh. Or, well, anyone for that matter. As of Shadowbringers I went from "I hate all of you Scions..." to "You know what? You guys aren't so bad." But I feel like they actually have personalities and quirks now. I don't really gush over any NPC in the game, but I do like some more than others because they're interesting. I've got no "waifus" or anything. 15 years ago, maybe, but certainly not now.
