You do not get the rewards of Alliance roulette with this method. This isnt the problem solver.
Well, you talk about wanting to experience those fights, learn etc. When people do that they usually queue for that particular duty.
What you're asking is as if I wanted to complete a precise story dungeon but instead of queueing directly for it I'd just queue on levelling roulette and get angry it's not popping up, because I want to do that but I also want roulette rewards. It's either or.
Oh I've already done those raids a number of times. Trying to complete a Lv60 or 70 raid is not the issue here. Ever since SHB I haven't seen any diversity in those raids. My post is specifically talking about making adjustments to what is suppose to be a Roulette of all available Alliance raids. You're cherry picking one notion of the post, rather than seeing the whole problem. People are cheesing their gear so you only get 1 alliance raid, out of the available 9. If I wanted to run a specific raid, then yes I am well aware I can queue for that raid specifically. Again though, I do not reap the daily rewards that come from doing the daily Alliance Roulette. That's the problem.Well, you talk about wanting to experience those fights, learn etc. When people do that they usually queue for that particular duty.

Again in my post, when there is a first time bonus, I am a bit more understanding in helping people clear the content. When you do not see a first time bonus for multiple days on end doing the same raid day after day, that gets tiring. This isn't an either or situation. This is addressing people cheesing their gear so that they only get one raid dungeon and nothing else.

I gotta totally agree with OP at this point, LOTA and ST are boring as hell, i've also been playing an alt and trying to get some sb raids done, but if i'm lucky ill get a pop, then a couple dps don't press commence and it's others that get penalized, then we gotta freakin wait for another damn 30 mins, if not more...
My suggestion is to make it similar to the pvp daily, but have them rotate all 3 raids from each ARR, HW and SB raids.
As OP stated, new players are not learning these, sb ones more so.
Also, i personally think echo should be removed from Orbonne Monastery aswell, its pointless.
Or if 1 or 2 dps don't press commence, just start the raid, happens everyday this, it's not just 3 other players' time they are wasting its another 20+

Unfortunately I find sometimes when you give feedback for the game, you will get people giving you solutions that not only don't resolve the issue at all, but don't contribute to the feedback. Yeah, obviously we know we could manually queue for the raid we want. Like they have somehow tapped into a font of wisdom the rest of the world hasn't considered, and unfortunately it's not helpful.
Definitely agree with the thread. For all the people doing the raids for the first time, it's totally understandable the system will have to match people down to older content often. For the people who are trying to game the system by lowering their ilevel, IMO there either needs to be a level-scaling requirement, or better yet give some kind of reward for meeting some kind of ilevel count for your level.
If it were to, say, give a bonus of xp + a bonus to whatever the current max level tomestones are if your ilevel qualifies, it's a nice way to encourage higher level players to queue with gear relevant to their level without inadvertently punishing people who just happen to be levelling faster than they can unlock content. People in their 60s or 70s in particular would definitely hop on the opportunity for bonus XP.
