precisely, part of the one time event, so after 2.0, they wont be needed anymore. After that we can go back to what this game should have in the first place, a fully functioning Chocobo system, breeding racing, minigames, customizing.

The existence of Goobue mounts does not prevent them from adding all that stuff, stuff that they've announced already. You act like it's Chocobos OR anything else, it's not. It's Chocobos AND anything else. From a logic standpoint, it's much better. They're not mutually exclusive so stop acting like they are. Have fun on your Chocobo, I'll chase the new players around on my Goobue.
