Goobbue Pic thread, GO

I see these as a good substitute for those new players that can't get chocobos yet. They can use the Goobbue until they can spend the many hours questing their chocobo whistle, and is a way to travel around a little faster while they do that.

I spent days running around doing the copy and paste GC intro speeches/quests, on foot, just to join a GC. Followed by grinding GC leves down in the Muy-Tuy Cellars a lot more than I would of liked to. Then I finally got to join a good Linkshell, which was my only way of getting Thousand Maws, the NM mobs and Primal Ifrit done. I was finally able to obtain my earned mount.

The 1.20b mount came out the day after I got my Chocobo, one can imagine how I feel.

I would have agreed with everything Kailea's been posting on the matter anyway. Also IMO, the clipping issue is completely unacceptable - as it takes FFXIV strongest point, the graphics / realism (compared to other MMOs), and abolishes it when those things are anywhere on screen. Finally, I've seen quite a bit of complaining about how they're so easily obtained. Again, one can imagine how I feel about that at this point.

Let's ignore the fact that your choco in the future will be a battle companion whereas the goobbue is completely and totally for aesthetics. It doesn't really matter since you still would be getting your choco.
