Rival Wings is the most active in JP and I know there are many of players with the title. In NA/EU I know 4-5 players but there might be more.

I joined the Discord, and in any event I check on Friday and Saturday evenings in case enough people are queuing whatever the schedule may be as sometimes people just try anyway. Anything other than "Over 30 minutes" is a good sign

I have no idea what you are talking about, i have not played pvp for centuries, nobody plays pvp on light DC i cant even remember my setup for skills.

Rival Wings is a PvP mode different than Frontlines and The Feast. It involves two teams trying to take out each others' cores. The core for each team can be reached by a northern road or a southern road, but, there are two towers protecting the core of each team. You can run around like normal or you can get fuel and temporarily pilot a mech, which is handly when blowing up defensive towers or damaging the enemy's core. It's similar to a MOBA and nothing at all like the other two PvP modes in FFXIV. (I say two modes because The Fold, well, folded a couple of years back - it's been removed from the game.)

Revival Wings is a Discord server that helps to coordinate players who want to do Rival Wings. Typically they try to get people queuing for it on Friday and Saturday nights.

There is a distinct set of abilities in PvP from PvE as opposed to a few years ago. Even when the name is the same the effects are usually different as they are balanced for PvP. Many fewer buttons. You can of course view them and rearrange your PvP bar at the Wolve's Den Pier should you be curious at all.

Revival Wings had recently been coordinating Rival Wings for Light DC on Saturdays from 6PM ST/GMT until whenever people got bored or tired, but currently they aren't scheduling blocks of time for Rival Wings on any DC because the new Frontline map (Onsal Hakair) just dropped. After the hype for it dies down Revival Wings plans to start scheduling Rival Wings times again, but in the meantime they are supporting people who want to play Onsal Hakair.
