Coo, a topic pre-emptively attacking people for voicing their opinions on a discussion forum.
Really, lay off. We've every right to complain about game elements if we want - we voice our preferences and that's that, 'developers can take it into account or ignore it. Meanwhile, much as people are so ready to tell people to shut up and ignore elements of the game if they don't like them.. I'm pretty sure the same applies to threads you've nothing more to contribute to than derision and orders to shut up and deal with it.
Me? I'd prefer they just leave it at chocobo and magitek armour, and just really iterate on the stuff you can do with them. I can tolerate mounts beyond that.. even the goobbue to an extent, although I find it amazing they'd implement something so effective at blocking up other people's screens. And I actively support the idea of the larger races being able to carry the smaller ones, too, ala Mabinogi.
But Ahriman? Good god the idea of someone riding one of those .. and the concept render looked so utterly stupid and annoying it was nigh unbelievable. Of course I'll voice my opinion against it, though obviously in the knowledge my voice is only one amid the many.
And telling people to shut up about the thing when the opportunity comes up to discuss it, or suggesting they're somehow the lesser for doing so? 'Pretty sure that's somewhere between against forum rules for attacking other players' for using the discussion forum to voice their thoughts on the game, and straight up bullying.

I'm still trying to figure out why we're getting Ahrimans a drake and Magitek. I never really liked Ahrimans, honestly, and certainly never agreed to give him any gifts! Heck, I'd keep the Magitek for myself!
