Hm... Do we need another AoE heal, tho? White Wind pretty much covers that. Still, if it's fixed potency and is cheaper it might be better in some situations, like for example after Stack Marker, when everyone is low on HP. So going this -> White Wind might be better.

Given that we are expected to go into HW sync'd content some are Alexander raids, 24 mans and extreme primals, Blu was sorely needing a cheaper aoe heal, a potent single target heal, esuna(Doomgaze etc) and a raise to fulfil the healer role, i would say this is welcome.

It also needs a way to dump and generate aggro and a cheaper less potent cd for tank role.

Also needs a significant Dps boost due to enrages in some of these fights are tighter than ARR content.

In ffxi it was an aoe cleanse too, this is how they add unique things to blu, remove fey caress from selene and give it to blu with a heal attached for a "new ability"

I half jokingly put in the healer forums a thread about how would whms feel if Blu got Aero III from Sophia, lo and behold she has a skill we can learn though looks like it is the aoe lightning attack or something similar.

So from the stuff datamined a while back (im assuming im allowed to talk about datamines), tank blu is getting a skill that boosts max hp, a cover, an aoe mitigation tool, and some kind of mitigation from the bee enemy, and hopefully with the tank buff icon theyre getting they'll gain access to the tank role skills.

as for healer blu, looks like theyre just getting pom cure, and exuviate as basic heals then white wind as the big one.

Also if the sophia skill isnt cintamani ill be very surprised

So the new blue stuff is fun and all. But it still doesn't change the fact that it's still limited, and now that the whole Level 5 Death thing, is proven to be false. They need to start striving to make it a full class, the stance idea I feel is a step in the right direction, but it could use a bit more refining, and who,knows, maybe this is the first step to them making it a full class. I guess only time can tell now.

The actual full dps rotation for BLU now is actually pretty engaging, if a bit simple (use correct filler for your current condensed libra buff, and hit the right varient of primal skill in your burst), tank and healer though are lacking, and are basically just the dps rotation with some tanking and healing gcds instead. Could see the DPS rotation being expanded upon as a full class thing though

And once more, Blu has fallen. Now party's seem to be at an all time low, even more so then last time. Here's hoping they rework it soon, and that it becomes a full class, if not next expansion, the one after that
