Not receiving messages in chat sometimes

So I've been having this issue since yesterday where sometimes party chat messages do not show up for me.

Yesterday in a duty, there was a moment where I did not see anything from anyone in the party. I was wondering why it was eerily silent after my inquiries to someone, only to later find out after a disconnect and logging back in that they did not see any of my messages, and I didn't see theirs. After logging back in, I could see what they were typing in party chat again.

Today I was in another duty, and I was trying to coordinate tankbusters and mechs with my co-tank, but I couldn't see his responses. Although this time I could see everyone elses messages in party chat. Apparently, the co-tank was talking from what the rest of the party was saying. Then they pull without me being prepared, blame me for wiping, accuse me of trolling, blist and kick me. EDIT: Turns out I forgot this person was on my blocklist. Not related to first issue. GG

This is really frustrating. People think I'm trolling them when this happens, and its hard to prove them otherwise. Now I'm hesitant to join parties for hard content without voice chat because I don't know when this could happen and unaware of whenever it is happening. I wanted to bring this up to vent and see if this has happened to anyone else and bring awareness to the issue. I should note that I have also been having intermittent latency issues these past few days, so that might have something to do with it. I'm aware that many are having latency issues as well, but I haven't encountered anyone else with this problem of not receiving chat messages.

I'm pretty sure. The issue is also that I'm not receiving their messages.

this used to happen to me all the time when i played on ps4, it usually has something to do with a weak internet connection. sometimes you can see theirs and they dont see yours or vice versa. unfortunately i don't know of any fixes other than logging out and back in, sorry a vpn like wtfast or exitlag might help but i'm not 100 percent sure.

Haha! Turns out he was. I forgot I ever met him before and thought this was related to the first issue. Mystery solved. Thanks!
