They need to work on the camera angles. I prefer my choco it looks classic, and I'm anxious for the armour!

Best picture i have seen on these forums yet.

Uhh yeah i can do a pros an cons take me two seconds.

    Pros:

Hes goofy looking and makes me laugh
Runs as fast as a chocobo
    Generally unique mount
Wont be able to get them after 2.0

    Cons:

You have to stare at his butt all day which is yes saggy
Hes fat i want my gobbue to go on a diet
    You cant name him. :[
You have to zoom your camera out sooo far to be able to run on them.

Nice play. Again, you guys are making it out to be raging when it's more of a disappointment that they didn't spent their time (however much it took) on something else. I like Goobbues. I think the Goobbue mount implementation was a little poor, though. The blanket doesn't look quite right to me, the field of view is mostly obstructed, and you couldn't name it. Also, we JUST GOT two other modes of travel a couple of months ago, we could've had something else done with this time.

    I did like the music.

I mainly view the Goobbue as not being long lasting content because it's more of a "LOLIAMONAGOOBBUELOOKATME" type of content. It's silly and you can think of random ways of getting a laugh out of it every once in a while, but it's just not meaty at all. The majority of people will get one, use it a couple of times, then forget about it.

No - you make it sound like raging. It's one thing to say "the camera angle needs to be fixed".. it's another to say "It's not good, I don't want to see them at all, I want to remove the icon from my game, they should have done something else".

Ps - get used to more mounts coming http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...858#post524858

Pss - this isn't an 'additional' mode of transportation, it's a different model. After all .. variety is the spice of life!

See, now you're just trying to antagonize instead of carrying on a conversation. I thought we were making progress. "HAR U DON'T LIKE IT - GET USED TO IT!" Yeah, sure man. I'm so mad right now.

I suppose I expected too much.

In a year, this horn icon will be taking up space. You and I will randomly call forth our goobbue, chuckle at his ass and his flailing arms, then put him back away for weeks at a time. I hope the development team at least combines the various mounts to one icon and allows you to change them via the configuration menu.

They already commented on that. It's not going to happen until 2.0. So yeah... get used to it is a good answer. I guess it could be seen as an inconvenience... if you play on a 14" monitor.

All jokes aside.. its this big [ ] even with 5 more mounts [ ][ ][ ][ ][ ] it's not game breaking, it doesn't destroy your screen - did you see the UI for 2.0? Check out how many icons are on that microbar, for real itz leik dubble the number we have nao!

Check out the number of rages threads, then come back. Check out the number of rage threads again, then come back. Relax a few minutes. Begin to post in a calm manner.
