Anywho, i think you missed the point of most of the hate. You could have batraal as a mount, but having 500 of them all crowded and via puppet-mastery is the issue, imo.

No they actually haven't about the ahriman/drake but I wouldn't put it past them just yet.

the Ahriman will be great for my miner if they can remove all collision detection.

personally i think they shoulda released all three at same time and had people pick one.

Looking at the horn and the areas I think it would have been better if the horn summoned one of the 3 depending on location limiting them to these zones while they're capable of adding other location specific mounts for coerthas (I vote for the ewes) and such.

Yeah but the part you're also missing is that the instant chocobo armor comes out hardly anyone will actually use any of these other mounts. You only see 500 of them in the same spot right now because it's a very new thing.

I doubt it, while armor is good, its just armor, i think Goobbue will still be preferred.
