Let's talk real about the viera and hrothgar

I just think that honestly before adding anything else to the other races, they should focus on fixing the two that are without question not done and rushed.

Also for the record i think they should have just gone with hrothgar to begin with and finished it as a whole since thats what yoshi p wanted in the first place and then if they decided to add viera later in a few expansions, i'm 100% sure people would have been fine with it.

I honestly just don't want it to become like some of the other side stuff since 2.0, that has been forgotten or thrown to the side for a newer systems because they couldn't be bothered.

I mean, they teased Viera a little by showing concept art of them back in heavensward. They probably should have just worked on them gradually since that point, instead of that weird mad rush with both Viera and Hrothgar before SHB came out.

For those that are suffering through, I hope you receive the same benefits the rest of us play with sooner rather than later.

We will be fine. My Hrothgar Alt will get new stuff in the future and will get new custom options in time. For now, I just love that there is finally a playable beast race..

I don't remember YoshiP saying anything about wanting to do the Hrothgar "In the first place"
They planned to do Viera first way back in HW, but decided to do something new instead: the Au-Ra. Them doing Viera and the New(ish) Hrothgar at the same time was because this might be their last chance to make new races for FFXIV, plus they BOTH were in demand. (Well not the Hrothgar Specifically, but a beast race) So they pushed both, but for now they only had time for 1 gender.

That would imply that they planned to make Viera. And if they did, we would have gotten them sooner rather then 2 expansions later. Would make more sense to make them Now. Rather Then gradually work on it for....IDK...6 years?

Yes, they have said several times that Viera and Hrothgar would get getting new hairs (And Hrothgar new faces) at some point. But don't expect them to come as fast as other races.

... no, they have been very clear that Viera and Hrothgar are NOT gonna get all the head gear. What works on them right now shows a clear theme and thought process they go by. Main thought seems to be "can it work on both without looking completely stupid or like a hot clippy mess?". So yeah, new PVP mask and visors work ... but no heal hat. That kinda thing.

Wouldn't it be cool if SE was the kind of company that made a unique variant of newly created headgear for their unique races? Me neither. SE is too small of a company, we mustn't expect too much from them.

I would be more than content if they just gave us more than two hairstyles per face option by giving all the possible Hrothgar hair options to all the faces. It really shouldn't be that hard to do given there's only 8 hairstyles for them right now and 4 face types to put them on.
