Considering we got the one I've always wanted and thought it'd never happen. *Hugs Rathalos mount* I'd definitely not object to something like an Iceborne cross-over that gave us a World Boss level F.A.T.E. featuring Deviljho, Rajang, Valkhana or Shara Ishvalda. Especially if they gave us weapons - Valkhana or Ishvalda style weapons would look absolutely stunning. Honestly, I just want to see 100+ people die to Savage Jho dragon beam / Furious Rajang lightning beam.

Street Fighter... Street Fighter Zero to be more detailed. SFV is BS a far as story and plot and SFIV killed ALL the story by bringing back Ryu's master cause he was - sleeping - in a grave for over 20 years. Yeah I'm still not over it.

A fight against a Thunderjaw. Different attack points(think Quarn HM first boss, takes reduced AoE damage for balance) where you can disable weapons, cooling cells and such.

Reward would be Aloy's armor, a Watcher minion and either a Charger/Strider/Broadhead mount.

Can any of these just be crossovers "in spirit", as in trying to capture something great some game did before and do it in there own way here?

At that point, I'd have tons I'd love to see. I'm just tired of using other games so often in place of this one fleshing out its own core and allowing it complacency with what it has instead of trying to go further.

If "throw more money at it" isn't a feasible solution for the game as a whole, it would at least make sense that development time remains with the game itself instead of some clashing involvement.

That's not to say that every crossover is similarly unfit -- the Monster Hunter crossover, for instance, fit surprisingly well and easily into the game, whereas the NeiR raid literally stuck a vast city in a mine because... -- but that fit should be a concern right alongside the individual attractiveness or short-term payoff of the crossover.
