Yeah I don't know what the deal is, but these Asian game companies LOVE gender locking stuff. I don't get it at all, but at least they didn't gender lock jobs in this game like so many of those other terrible eastern MMOs that have gender locked classes.

Yes please, I really like the male version of the DRG /cpose and I wanted it on my female char >:T And also the sundrop dance for the male variant too! But the female sundrop dance... It feels like no soul was put into it at all..... Thus I was disappointed....
the female version is just a gentle dance without the agressiveness, it works fine with the ladies.
The Sundrop dance is based of "The Haka" from an old Hawaiian Tribe.
The females are actually suppose to be this stiff! But yeah I get what you mean.
I like the energy the males give and want it on female too.
As for DRG, Kain's iconic pose. The female version is kinda similiar to it, but no cigar.
I want his pose...Heck, I want the "Princess" run from Hyur too.
It'll help a bunch if they unlocked all these "gender" locked emotes/poses or whatever
and stuff to make people feel really different.
Clear savage, get new pose.
Earn it as bragging rights.
It really sucks sometimes. When I first got into FFXIV I was so hyped to learn we can get Hildibrand's outfit, but I was crushed when I went to put it on my character and it looks nothing like it, being cheated out of a classy suit in favour of a horribly short skirt and cleavage cut.
Later I would realize the outfit is based on Nashu, and it is built upon models like the Patrician set, which really did nothing to improve my mood. I rather they just make them discrete options so we can pick and choose. So with a case like this, Hildi's outfit and Nashu's outfit would be separate. The flower crown debacle from earlier this year would be resolved if they had separate crowns. And, lastly, with this thread, people would get a third cpose.
Of course, rigging outfits and animations for assets takes time... OK, if they don't like the increase in scope, then I'd appreciate if they would stop needlessly making things different where they don't need to be.
While I don't oppose this, if they were to actually put time towards it, I would actually rather see new poses implemented.
This is one of those things I wish they would have done with its inception. Now it would require a rework, and this word instills fear into the fearless for a production team already hard-pressed to meet deadlines.
