Viera can't use the new Modern Aesthetics - Modern Legend

Add another +1 to that. Viera finally feels like the "right" race for me: they're tall, elegant, and aloof. Yet from someone who changed between male and female every few months, and changes their hairstyle every few days/weeks... they also feel limited...

Plus, is there a REASON over half the hairstyles have those little flowers?!

I think the little flowers are cute, but yeah... Wouldn't mind having the option to just. Not have them.

Pretty much me. I change races a lot of the time because I have an outfit idea in mind. Sometimes one race simply looks better in it than another, or the hairstyles combined with said race, etc. make a better look. With viera it is so limited you really just don't have much room for creativity, plus you cannot even wear headgear if you want to implement some of that into the glam.

Then I end up wearing the glam for a grand total of like two days, and put back on my summer gear or something.

Also, with viera, even a lot of the shorter styles clip extensively in the front, and or back. An example would be the side bangs or the big pony tail. You then have very limited options of hairs that look good, go with your outfit, and don't clip in a bad way. Another problem with a lot of the viera styles is the hairs end up looking extremely stiff.

For understanding though: ENB is technically not modding. It's ReShade analogue, that mostly affect only the way how you see some colors and such, and in most of cases used for making screenshots with avoiding using tools like PhotoShop (in short: make things easier) at least in our community. Some can use some presets for game just in general. It doesn't parse your dps and doesn't change how character or clothes look, so basically you can't do any harm or harassment for other players with that, that's probably why it's not bannable. X)
Modding is prohibited, and for this you can be banned. Though, to be fair, unless you do something... really nasty, you probably will be pretty much ignored.

That is true- I don't know what mods would be really offensive or as you said 'really nasty' - although, some of my FC members have posted some really... really.. odd screens of actual mods

I'm actually switching back to Au Ra in a few days myself. The limitations have just been wearing me down over time. I can't use the hairstyles I have bought in-game, no garentee that we can use any of the new ones ever, some of my favourite hats I can't use, and what I CAN use on the head have placement issues, clipping issues, floating issues... I was excited to make a wolpertinger glamour on Viera, but... The antler placements /puke

Funny, I have most hairs in the game unlocked (wish I had that summer style rainmaker I think).. It really does suck not being able to use them and combine them with an outfit.

That's sad to read, I think you were one of the last like true holdouts. I've switched back and forth to viera 3 times. Viera - Miqo'te - Viera - Au Ra - Viera - Miqo'te (current)! I used to make excuses that it was because of SE that I was switching, nah I just like to fantasia simple as that, I have found.

Gotta say though being miqo'te has really opened up a ton of glamour options, even versus au ra. I use the small horned au ra and she has a really skinny face, rather very odd looking with a lot of hairs, miqo'te doesn't have that issue and looks better in more hairs. I'd assume you are going with fish fin au ra.

The first new hairstyle seemingly developed after the launch of the expansion and the new races can't use it. If any of you had hope these races would slowly be built up this should be a sign that you should abandon any hope of that happening.

They did 2 unfinished half races. If only they had done 1 none of this problems would be here. We were just simply lied to. They told us we would onyl get 1 gender of each and more customization. What we got was 1 gender with way less customization

Male-and-female Hrothgar would still have design restrictions regarding visible hats. They said from the start that this is a design choice. The only difference would be that if-and-when we got any Viera at all, they might not have restrictions as a side effect (on the assumption that it's the reason they're restricted now).

As I've said before, I don't think the restriction for Hrothgar is about time limits but that hats wouldn't work in conjunction with how their hair is implemented - and I don't think their hair works that way due to time limits but customisation-template limits.

Also, they never promised "more customisation". They said "unique customisation", which is true, and people heard what they wanted to hear and never stopped to fact-check it.
