You seem like a tyrant more so than a fair leader. Personally, I don’t agree with what they did but I also don’t agree with what you did either. If you give someone a warning, stick by it. If you had principles, that would be the clear answer.

If anything, it sounds an awful lot like you see your members as tools and not as people. If a tool doesn’t work the way you want them to, you just throw them away. It’s your FC so you get to pick what people to keep, but that’s the difference between your leadership style and mine.

Did you ever find out the reason why they bad mouthed you, or did you just skip the part to try to understand their point of view?

So you call me a Tyrant and not a fair leader, because I remove people for breaking rules and people being jerks and bad mouthing people behind their back... If a warning is given, and I think "Oh if they bad mouth me on live stream, then why should I keep them" and just so you know, I've never bad mouth them ever for anything. As for my members to say that I think of them as tools and not people. Personally, I treat everyone in the FC as equals, if they did something small that is regarded as bad then I would tell them off for it, but when it comes to bad mouthing people behind their backs, to me that would warrant my kick.

Oh, for them bad mouthing me. It's because they were associated with the people who were kicked in the passed for being in the clique group and they were known to bad mouth other people behind their backs FC or Non-FC members, so they joined my FC to be with their friend who was also part of that group. This is how I knew when they came back to harass us. And it was not only that, it was also because I died a few times while helping them, so they just said a lot of nasty things in on their live stream which they deleted when I watched it over.

Edit: They also complained when people die when raiding, but when they too die no one says anything, this to me counts as toxicity. What I do is I say "Its ok, we can try again".

And if you reread the story, she did speak to them about it, and was willing to let them off with a warning until after speaking to an FC member and saw things another way to realise it wasn't the right decision.

Given the whole discussion has been about them keeping toxicity away from them and their FC rather than because their feelings were hurt after being talked badly behind their back, this doesn't exactly scream tyrant to me. This screams of me of someone trying to stop something getting out of hand before it does.

I called you a tyrant because if it’s not your way, it’s no way. You remind me of the film The Dictator. If someone doesn’t play by your rules you have them executed. Metaphorically speaking of course.

The point still stands though, you said you would give them a chance then removed them without that chance actually being given. You betrayed your own principals, you went against your own word because you felt like it, that’s not a fair leader, that’s a tyrant. How can you say you give everyone the same rules, when you are so willing to bend them to suit your own agenda?

So let me get this straight, in the past you kicked group A, then you found out their friends, group B, were bad mouthing you on a stream because you kicked their friends? Would you be happy if your friends were removed? Can you not understand their frustration? Instead of showing them anger and throwing your power around you should have tried showing them some compassion and being rational. However, you twisted your own power to get what you want, betraying your principles.

Considering you tried talking to them and they removed the vid, and tried to back paddle from it shows to me that they feared you, never respected. Is that not a tyrant?

I only give my opinion as I have had nearly identical situation when I ran a guild in EQ2, but instead of kicking them, they lived up to their chance and actually became officers after a year or two and are still very close friends. We visit each other often. If I did what you did, I would have never had them as friends.

I don’t mean to be rude, and I am sorry if it comes across as that way. I am only giving my opinion on the matter.

Feedback on your note of not trying to come off as rude. Going to extreme of calling somebody a dictator who views their members as tools and now in your follow up post compare them to a movie about Kim Kong Un is definitely not the way to go, one of the worst and most horrible dictators of modern times, this really paints an unflattering image over somebody kicking toxic people out of an FC they're not /entitled/ to be in to curb said toxicity.

It’s not just that moment that screams tyrant however, it’s throughout the entire thing. Constantly we are reminded that it’s the OPs way or no way. OP decision is final. I am not defending the actions of anyone here though, both parties are to blame.

We must be watching different films, The Dictator is a film with Sacha Baron Cohen.... a comedy.

    *sigh*

If you want to stand by and call me a Tyrant, just for changing a warning to a kick, then that's very unfair to be honest. If they want to be a mean and sh*tty to other people, then I for sure will never accept that kind of behaviour, not in the FC where a lot of people are actually nice people and don't want people like them around, so I will keep it that way. Don't compare me to a dictator when an expulsion in game is something that is very different to being executed in real life. I shouldn't have to allow clique groups and circles around either, if I don't want my FC turning into a drama hall.

Heres the thing, u are very patient with people who are like that, I on the other hand am not as so patient when it comes to toxicity.

I said I was done, but just poking my head in here to chime in about this ridiculousness.

Tyrant? Lacking in principles? Really? Could you possibly be any more hyperbolic? My god, you are just an insulting machine, then when you are called out for your ridiculousness, you shrug and say "it's just my opinion"? Then let me give my opinion:

You are a sniveling enabler and apologist if you genuinely think the leader is in the wrong here. Your understanding of the situation is so warped that you believe that Yakoo should just allow them and their FC to insulted, in public, from within, so long as they give a warning first. You live in a bubble where things are static and never change; grow up and join us in reality where situations and our understanding of those situations and of our friends around us can change. People need to be held accountable for being jackasses, period. Stop enabling them.

*shrug* That's just my opinion, though, and you can't really call me out for having an opinion, according to you.
