They NEVER promised that Viera would get new hair styles that other races get. They have, a number of times, said that Viera and Hrothgar would get new and unique hair styles at some point. Never said when though, only that it wouldn't come as fast as other hairstyles.

Look I understand older ones might need adjustments but newer ones c'mon Square Enix. I spend 1800 tokens for fake advertisement.

This is funny because they've been careful to NEVER advertise any head stuff on Viera or Hrothgar that players couldn't use.
Like, before the team went out of their way to make the gear that does work Yoshi wouldn't let them give NPC Viera something as simple as a monocle/ glasses cause people would go "If this NPC Viera can wear this head gear why can't my Viera??".

They never advertised this with a Viera so it was never fake advertisement. You should know by now that they will likely show you when Viera and Hrothgar can use head stuff unless it looks straight up stupid like that Mog Station cosplay hood.


I like looking at these kinda threads for the lulz but really, you all need to just make one thread. No reason for there to be so many small ones.

Actually, this is what was translated from a Famitsu interview with Yoshi in regards to Hrothgar and Viera hairstyles:

"Since Hrothgar have hairstyles tied to their character creation options rather than being separately selectable, you will not be able to apply unlockable hairstyles, but they might implement more face types after 5.0. As for Viera, there's some legacy hairstyles they'll able to eventually implement, but not all of them. Some of unlockable hairstyles should be supported, others may not be."

They've also said they'd make unique ones, but currently we have neither legacy nor new unique hairstyles available so who knows at this point.

This isn't Destiny 2. It's not the same company. It's not a relevant comparison.

That doesn't really matter. My point was that making a bunch of threads can sometimes bring about change. Whether it's Destiny 2, or WoW, or DC Universe Online means nothing, it's all about what kind of folks the devs are and how they wish to take feedback. To simply say "Devs will only address an issue if it's being talked about in one thread" is just plain false. Wanted to clear that up.

On the other hand, multiple threads for the same topic just annoys people, which means the threads fill up with dismissive comments and negativity that don't accomplish anything. And needlessly floods the front page of the forums.

In other words, putting it all in one thread does nothing.

Spamming multiple threads on the same topic when there are already mega threads about it is just going to resort to your post getting deleted or it fading into obscurity. The more people that post in one consolidated thread the longer it stays on the front page and shows the developers that we want feedback, not that they are obligated to respond of course. The Male Viera thread and the DF thread are prime examples of this. If you want them to take your feedback seriously, just post in the threads already discussing the topic.
