You can literally just Google macros for it and do that idly without learning a thing. I like that you're being hopeful, but let's not pretend people aren't just spamming macros while they're all gathered in the Firmaments. Not any easier than it is since 5.1, really. If anything it forces people to actually craft and work to increase collectability, while for everything else you can just buy ready items on mb, turn them in, and never have to use a skill. A lot of people are now for the first time looking up DoH skill descriptions and getting interested in crafting, and tbh it makes me happy not to be the odd one who cares about crafting.
So yall want Yoshida to nerf crafting xp gains into the ground now?
Also I don't spam macros.
I'm not being hopeful, I'm talking about what the people I play with say and do.
i as well never used macros. A number of people will, but let's not pretend it's everybody.
I’m currently using the firmament to level my crafters and have not been relying on macros. It was something of a culture shock when I originally struggled to hit 50 collectibility, but I’ve learnt a bit from trying to get collectibility up to that sweet spot of 104 for level 20s. A number of my crafters are now level 50 as a result. I’d be careful about generalising without data to support your claims.
"Its good that they didn't make Ishgard restoration only available to high level crafter's, so more people can participate."
Hope the same people who though this event was a good idea enjoy the dead MB that'll follow the event as well, since no-one right in his mind will pay for something that he/she can craft for far less than half the price.
BLU Mage was fast to level too. The lv45+ zones were packed for a week after release with people everywhere going on about how fun and crazy it was. 2 weeks later it was a dead class.
Like BLU there is nothing at lv80 for DoH now. You're leveling, but not towards anything. Nothing you make is special. Nothing is worth that much. It's just an item dispenser that will churn cheap potions and battle gear at you occasionally at the press of a button, rather than an actual class.
Minority view probably as I know a lot of people benefited from the exp, but perhaps there shouldn't have been an exp reward attached to this.
They would have had to adjust the scrips and reward relative to recipe vs crafter level (ie a level 20 doing a level 20 recipe gets similar results as a level 80 doing a level 80 recipe) to give lower levels a meaningful reason to participate though.
Apart from the fact you can do expactly the same here. The lowest collectibility threshold for restoration items gives the same exp than an HQ leve item...And you get twice as much if you manage to get the max collectibility threshold. ITs as simple as buying the matts off the market board, hitting basically any buttons until out of CP, and finishing the craft, no skill involved at all for the same rewards from a leve PLUS getting scripts, its honestly kinda stupid.
2.0 Veteran from 2013. Just looking to be helpful. DRK is Love, DRK is life.
(Ignore the levels on my character card, the tool i used to make it hasn't been updated for 4.0)
What's the meaning of THIS ???
Like in any RPG, you level to gain better stats, new skills and to have access to more powerful receipes.
