The most pathetic thing is that the player doing this is using a level-skipped alt account (That also recently changed names to try to throw off people tracking them in player search), so even if they got banned there's no guarantees they wouldn't just come back on a different account.

This happened earlier today on my server when I was gathering in Il Mheg. One Forgiven add was despawned which made the whole thing pointless as a result, and people in Shout chat were understandably irate. Ridiculous that this sort of thing is allowed to continue with no sort of "grace period". Would 10 minutes of it being impossible to despawn really be so terrible?

What makes you think all of this is on purpose, theres a good chance it ate a low lv and then depoped or a person did fly to low not even seeing it or was simply curious.

There is someone who is purposefully camping out on a minion spawn point as BLU then using Self-Destruct to immediately reset it seconds after it appears. They've been caught in the act several times now and they have a prior history of trolling S ranks in general across the Aether DC.

It is not a happy little coincidence. It's deliberate malicious behavior aimed at the hunting community strictly out of spite and if my suspicions are correct, this person is someone who also already has all of the hunt-related achievements and thus has nothing to lose from partaking in this trolling on an expendable alt account.

Some people just want to watch the world burn. Sad.

You would simply have to play on Aether and be active in the hunt community to experience the level of trolling being discussed. The hunt trolls on aether are out of control and very vindictive.

While I do not agree, from a GM perspective I could see how they would not want to take action since they have no proof it was done to intentionally grief. GM's in this game let a lot slide when you feign ignorance. Had someone in our discord channel kill the wasp for six hours straight when BLU was released and they simply told the GM they had no idea it was a special mob.

Our GM's so so by the book it is painful.

As I said before, they should delay their spawn times just like they did with Ovni FATE portals. Give the minions like 2-3mins before they spawn after the notification and problem solved.

Players that reset the hunts, accidentally or not, should get a hidden debuff that stays with them. When that debuff hits a certain number, hunts simply ignore them - they can't get credit for them, they don't aggro them and cannot gain rewards from open world hunts (bills and whatnot will still work). They only way to remove it is to have a GM look into it, which should reveal every flag that lead to that debuff, showing that player is willfully engaging in grief tactics.

It should be a high enough number that "accidentally" doing these is improbable. This counter should also apply per account, not character. While I'm very much in the hunts-are-open-world-and-waiting-is-not-required-just-courteous-camp, trolling and purposely resetting is an entirely different thing.

I would hope that GM's are just taking time to think on banning the guy. Hope that they find every account associated with his IP address and jus ban them all. Paying an extra sub and boosting the alt is some length to go to jus to be a griefer. Got more money than morals I guess
