I realized none of the FFXIV races appeal to me, anyone else?

Having more doesn't make it okay, because it's a newer game. Compared to other games of its generation, the character creation of FFXIV is very underwhelming. It should've been better from the get go.

The point is that WoW didn't feel the need to add customization for 15 years even though other games have shown the ability to offer more during that time. It's not about whether we think it's okay, but whether FFXIV would feel the need to add more any time soon, especially with Viera and Hrothgar still needing to catch up (assuming they ever will) with the other races.
