Gathering gets NO SCRIPTS from Ishgard Restoration???

Not everyone loves to craft and not getting anything for gathering except some gil is really crappy.

I was expecting the first stage to be gathering collectibles actually but it turned out to be just gathering mats to do crafting collectibles only meaning you can only get scripts via crafting at the moment.

Not sure if the 2nd phase will be designed differently to the 1st but I am not optimistic.

Melodramatic much? Just level a crafter, you are the only one keeping yourself from participating right now.

The xp is amazing for the collectibles. Minimum 2 million XP per at level 70 for the lvl 70 collectibles. I'll gather for that. Doesn't bother me overly much.

It really doesn't take long to level a crafter. I suggest those interested into picking one DoH and level it for this restoration.

Why should I have to level a crafter when SE didn't plan this correctly? If I wanted to level a crafter I would go back to WoW where it is MUCH EASIER TO LEVEL SOMETHING. SE DROPPED THE BALL, plain and simple.
