will never happen, unless they completely remake the game with a new engine in 9.0.

This is a several year old post. Probably did happen back in the day.

But on topic, yeah, it would be nice to have an indoor market board for your home/apartment as well as a glamour dresser, but the way people describe these things, it would apparently cause the servers to implode. It's disappointing to say the least, but hopefully one of these days they will switch up/fix up the spaghetti code and make it possible.

Was going to say - this thread is from 2017It still is a nice idea though. I like to have my own MB ^^
"Pray return to the workshop room."

Looking back at my previous post here, I would much rather a glamour dresser housing item over a market board housing item now.
Going to the cities just to put one item in the glamour dresser is such a bother, and one I would rather do in the comfort of my own home.
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥

Right?
It's like going to sleep and waking up dressed and outside near your car..
Sure I don't remember my morning routines most of the time but.. jarring.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?

That'd be sweet. I know a lot of people say that people don't ever use the housing system, but me and my 2 buddies use out small FC house A LOT while we are crafting or queuing for dungeons. That said, I doubt it will ever happen.

it make it easy when crafting in my fc room or at my house. You wouldn't have to run long ways to board to buy item or see prices on board before selling item.

you do know there is a market board literally within 10 seconds away from each house right?

Those who have access to housing are never far away from a market board. I would much rather they implement a glamour dresser because I have to port away from my home and to a city state to use one.
However, I think if a glamour dresser was as easy to make an indoor furnishing as an orchestrion, company chest, toy box, or journal (items we interact with that have sub menus) then we would already have one. I believe the constraint the devs have is that items stored in the glamour dresser still have to retain all its data (level/job requirements, stats, dyeable/crest, all that freakin jazz). If we did get one, I believe load times into our houses would drastically increase, and only get worse if it gets expanded upon.
Going back to the MB, when I initially read the subject I thought the OP was only going to ask for a non-functional MB for decoration. While I initially thought, "What's the point in that?" when I think about it more, it actually would be pretty cool and I bet they'd have a clever description of it too xD
