You sure about that? I always thought that it's the current market that dictates how much players place their items up for sale (supply vs demand). If I could choose how much I want to sell items for based on what I feel the item is worth, then it will either never sale because I place this value too high, or I crash the market by setting the price too low. Both of these outcomes do not work in the seller's favor. You're really just choosing how much to sell yourself short by when choosing to sell something for less than the going rate.

It might not be bad for you, but it could potentially be disastrous for the market. It's dismissive thinking because buying and turning for profit requires a financial investment, and the OP is talking about a time investment. The seller does not benefit from your actions like you think they do, because you're actually perpetuating the buyer's market, and a ideal economy is one with an equilibrium where both buyer and seller benefit.
