So one of the winners of the 2019 Furnishing Contest designed a working bog complete with flushing sounds!

I am way more excited then I should be about this, no more alpine chairs!

I always found it odd that we could have sinks, showers, bath tubs but for some reason nobody in Eozea poops...

Because of that, plus also that they have maintained this trope in the game until now, I have to say I will be very surprised if that toilet was introduced.

Most Eorzeans are not even connected to running water let alone sewage, so a flush toilet is just too advanced for the setting, to say nothing of the trope I mentioned earlier.

Our housing plots are not the typical peasant cottages.

So having a working shower, sink and bathtub all of which use a waste water pipe and require plumbing to work are ok as well as high end tech like flying motorcars and bikes but a loo is far too advance to ever exist in game?

While there is pluming in Eorzea, none of these furnishings are responsible for the removal of pee and poo. That's the caveat I believe.

I had thought the addition of some kind of outdoor furnishing that is purely aesthetic and not functional could be used to solve the mystery of how the WoL goes to the bathroom.
