Speaking of Copied Factory, last week I was on WAR and got an in progress at the third boss. Nothing too crazy. This week, I didn't want to wait so I jumped on SCH. First two bosses, I was on my toes. Never seen them before so I was being extra careful. After that I let my guard down. I new the third boss' mechanics, what I can and can't take. Wait, healers have like half the health of tanks. I can't take that and I died. Final boss, I learned my lesson. BUT, I got confused on the Fore/Front/Port/ laser attack and stood in the wrong spot for most of them.

Anyway, enough about me. I got A9 for roulette. This first run was a bust. Adds were misplaced. People took a lava bath. It was bad. But whatever, it's over two years old. Not everyone can remember. Round 2 goes better. OT grabs the adds and places them in the panel. We kill them. BRD runs in and wakes them up and pulls them out. Everyone's like, "WHY?" and the OT "Leave them alone if you don't know what you're doing." No more mistakes and we clear. The BRD is like, GG . I think he was just trolling.

No. There are more people then you might think who get offended if you tell them the mechanics without them asking. If you want a run down and dont want to just watch a video or something, then ask. Otherwise youre basically saying you either know what youre doing, or that youre confident in your ability to pick things up on the fly and want to wing it.

I remember someone doing the Nier Raid got really angry about someone else spoiling the Raid for them by telling them mechanics.

Can't count how many times I'll get killed purely by someone else's stupidity than my own.

Last night we did two runs of Copied on my alt with a friend of mine who was thinking of quitting the game and made a bet with us that if she got the 2P and Caster Coat that she would resub, one month each.

The two of us who had already run it were like 'I'll take them odds' and we proceed to que into the worst Copied run I've had the misfortune of experiencing. I can't even put into words the amount of derp but the fact that we hit the '30 mins left' mark (and exceeded it) pretty much sums it up. On the 2P chests we pass and sure enough our friend gets one. One month of sub secured. \o/ No caster coat though so we try again.

This time my other friend goes as BLM and proceeds to dies terribly and a lot (I'm blm main and I take SMN for that lol--much respect to BLM in there). But the Run is more smooth and low and behold, the caster coat appears in the last chest. Since the only two casters are my two friends, she gets the coat too. Both in a row. \o/

Just goes to show the power of fashio--er, friendship. Yeah. :3

I think there are more successful kills of players on other players in PvE than in PvP.

That's pretty much the norm now. I learned my lesson not to get into healer ethics with other healers, we clash all the time. They don't want to talk about healing, they just want to talk about damage and how to minimize healing to do as much as possible.. it's quite sad really.

When I heal, I also try to maximize damage and minimize the number of healing spells, sure, but not at the expense of actually doing my job. Some people kinda forget the latter part on occasion.
Btw, why do you have a horribly-google-translated-into-Finnish Ardbert quote in your signature box? Got me to do a double take. :P

Got a Bardam's from leveling roulette on my Ninja. Tank and healer were nice and thankful for tips on the bosses.

Bard didn't use songs besides Minne. When requested, responded with "chill" "i dont need tipps thanks".

I did Bardam's Mettle for the first time, and oh boy. I deal with quite a bit of latency because I live in the absolute middle of nowhere -- 300ms is a good day. I'm also not a great player, to be honest. I can normally dodge about 80% of AoEs. As long as I react immediately, I can complete mechanics just fine, usually. But oh my gosh, the boss that was just constant dodging? I would like to apologise to my teammates, if any of them come here, for how absolutely useless I was. I may as well have not shown up to that boss at all! I "survived" only one round. That was embarrassing.
