For the 9028347th time, you already have instanced housing, It's called an apartment. Apartments were added to help relieve some of the housing shortage. All I've seen people do is complain that it's not good enough. No wonder they don't care to fix it. Making threads being rude about it is probably not helping your case.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again now: Round up everyone that did the housing for Wildstar, hire them, and let them rip the entire current system out by the roots to redo it similarly to that game. Or failing that, turn apartments into single instanced plots and let everyone buy whatever size house they like.

It's not broken. It's working as intended. You just don't like how it works. I agree there is far too little housing and far too few med/large plots. I was simply pointing out that they did add instanced housing in the form of apartments and everyone jumped in to complain instead of saying something like thanks for this, can you add gardening. That's all that's missing really. FCs get a workshop and extra rooms but individual houses don't.

Because it's not enough. It's a good side thing yes, but I would love to own a garden...
and play house a little bit more than having a tiny little room.
At this point, there will never be enough houses for the million of people that play this game.
It just needs to be done from the ground up at this point.
Not many of us can be asked to get up at 3AM on a work day to stand and click and hope to get a house first
amoungst others. It's not fair. It's suppose to be fluff content, not a savage clicking fest.

I'm honestly one of those that feels like submarine and airplanes should've been open to anyone who has a house or an apartment. I mean, as far as I've heard, it's basically a giant retainer. FC should've been given stuff like special raids or Guild vs guild type of content to make them appealing.

As for housing, I do hope they change apartments and houses overall so there isn't a constant struggle. I mean I was able to swap which characters of mine should have a house easily but then again I'm on Crystal where the population is not that bad (unless you're on Mateus).

I played a couple of MMOs that let you expand the inside of the house as much as you want. You could literally have the outside of your house be a tent but on the inside, it could be an insane palace if you wanted. That's the type of upgrade I would like to see added to this game. The issue of having a small house would go away. And if they would just add a greenhouse feature to allow indoor gardening, that could solve the gardening problem. But I have to agree with another poster that raging all over the forums does not always work and it might do the opposite.

Only thing I'd change is not let individuals buy larges (and I say this as someone who has had a house for 6 years). No single player needs that big of a house when there's so many homeless FCs.

Oh and get rid of that dumb housing timer, there's nothing wrong with first come first serve.

I am sure all the people who are having no housing what so ever would gladly take your small plot -that you so clearly don't care about and probably only hold hostage to have a chance to upgrade- from you. Besides, small houses are maximum comfy and require you to get creative with all the space, they are by far the best imo.

Edit: Just to make it clear, I fully agree with you that the system needs an overhaul. While it feels nice to have a place to call your own, it just breeds very unneccessary frustration.

nah system is fine, just take a walk in every house ward and you quickly relize that all this people whining theyre going to buy an house ,fill their garden with the most hideous trash and forget about their precious home in a couple of days.
