But making a big deal over an outfit without even knowing how systems have always been working in this game just makes you look a little silly especially when you say something like "continued in future content." Or maybe you can explain to me how having this sooner means more than having it later. You get the outfit and then what exactly...? I'm curious.
I honestly sat here for half an hour trying to reply to you in a way that didn't require a ton of typing and it just doesn't exist.

It's not that I'm not willing to dive into it, it's that I feel like there's no way you're being serious when in your own post you say "Could it be better and work akin to the extreme primal system? Sure."

Like, you recognize the issue but are still asking why anyone should bother improving on it. In your original post you also created this strawman of people who just want a glamour so they can stand around and perform in town. It's why I said you were being disingenuous.

To top it off we're posting during the 3rd expansion of Final Fantasy XIV, a game that launched in 2010 to such disastrous consumer feedback that Square-Enix publicly apologized repeatedly, removed everyone who was in charge of the game, and committed to completely rebuilding the game over a two year period while supporting the original one.

This game is the greatest testament to user feedback in the industry and you say I'm making a big deal by posting about something I dislike.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here regardless. Once more, to be brief:

What I dislike doesn't have to do with the gear itself. It has to do with what it tells me, a player, about what the developers want me to do. They don't want me to come back and get what I wanted and be happy with it. They want me to run this content over and over again, hitting need over and over again, hoping to get what I want.

I think that's pretty awful. I didn't like it with 24 person minions before, I still don't like it, and I think they should rethink what they're doing here. Let me earn it, or at least make it a per party roll. That's my feedback.
