Even classes that didn't have all their aoe now do and more it looks like. Gotta get ready for the Nadaam Frontline.

Kinda bummed they removed the stun from AST Celestial Opposition but at the same time I can't fault them for doing so. It got a little ridiculous in stuff like Shatter and Secure.
I can't really comment on the rest of the changes without actually playing PVP but a quick scan of SCH makes me think it might actually be more viable now.

Kinda looks like they hit a reset button. AoE healing will be nice to have again. Tetra's back too.
I'll miss fluid auraing people off ledges, though.

The loss of healer CC is what's kinda making me frown with these patch notes. Yeah we still have the universal PVP role actions but I liked how PVP was one of the only modes left in the game where CC was still viable. I'd have preferred soft nerfs, or a hard nerf in the case of Celestial, to outright removal.
Healers are not the only ones who lose their CC, tanks also lost a lot of their CC these changes are ridiculous, everyone is going to play dps now.

From what I can see of CC, it's now tank: Stun, draw-in, knockback, ninja: silence, other-melee: non, healer: sleep, ranged: silence, bind, heavy, black-mage: sleep, red mage: bind, summoner: non
Axing Fluid Aura while allowing SCH to retain Aura Burst is kind of silly.
I don't think anyone could argue that the AoE stun on Celestial Opposition was actually okay, though (That privilege apparently got shifted to SMN who now has a stun on Painflare).

This is a little over-dramatic and dodgy. I'd say having a universal stun and taking it off of some of the other actions, especially Onslaught, is going to have an overall net positive in most situations. The two more difficult things to evaluate is going to be GNB having to be in melee to stun and DRK losing their yoink without having to commit an action to it. I think GNB is losing out on the CC changes though I can't say I feel a lot of sympathy for the job with the damage it had at least in 5.0.
Overall as a tank main I am happy with it and I thin we will have a reasonable participation rate.

Small correction. SMNs have an AoE stun in their new Painflare.
The real thing worth talking about is apparently ASTs can't forever obnoxiously insta-Benefic anymore, it seems like it's more like RDM's trait where you need to hardcast something 1st to get one instant follow-up spell.

This along with the AoE stun from AST and other direct healing potency nerfs seems to me they want to push healers to the back line out of harms way. Teams have to ensure their healers are more protected now than before.
