A good healer aims for less than 10% overheal in a full fight, if not that’s a failure (:

Actually, a good healer doesn't really aim for any overheal unless it's something ridiculous like 50% where you clearly have a problem and should change something. 20-30% overheal is absolutely ok and normal, even more if you are whm since regens are also counted for overheal and assize is usually used for oGCD damage.
