On the one hand, I don't mind a couple of wipes to help new players get through a fight. On the other hand, I don't feel like dealing with pointless attitude over something I really cannot control.
So, yeah, probably.

So, laugh or cry?
DF into Rival Wings, got singed on a push as DPS and spot a friendly Astro. Cool. As I'm typically a healer in PvE and PvP I know you don't always see people in your field of vision who are low on health so I made sure to be easy to spot in the retreat. Nothing (as in no heals cast, not just on me). I do the quick hop-hop... the Astrop does a hop-hop, and my time runs out as a ranged player snipes me.
So... what do you think? Did they not understand why I was chasing them or did they decide... "naahhh"?
Not a big deal either way but like I said... felt a little strange to me![]()
Thanks for helping make the FFXIV community a fun and welcoming place. If you're not sure you have (and you very likely have), make it a point to be patient or helpful the next time you log in so that you can know you've made a difference.
If you're on the Aether data center, congratulations! I might be your nextexciting adventurehealer in the Duty Finder. Please look forward to it.

Probably didn't notice you were low on hp. Depends how their nameplates were set up.So, laugh or cry?

I would have asked was all that pants crapping he/she was doing worth it.Had a person that was very unhappy with me spamming holy since the tank was just doing small pulls.
They gradually got madder and madder until we got to the final boss and they went on some tirade about how WHMs aren't DPS and they know what they are talking about because they are a "white mage main."
I play healer in PvP. I also play with controller on PS4. There’s no easy way to target outside of my group, especially during a skirmish. A lot of people get pissed at me when they die right in front of me. Luckily, deaths don’t mean anything in RW. No points lost for dying and the timer stays at 5s.So, laugh or cry?

Yeah I wasn't upset, just thought it was weird. I'm playing on other jobs right now for fun and leveling, but I typically heal. Wasn't a skirmish, just me and the healer (as I was running back from a failed push). No other allies around. But as you mentioned, there's no penalty for dying in RW so I just shrugged and chuckled. On the topic of targeting friendlies, in FL I have had issues (even with mouse and keyboard) when allies are somewhat stacked and I'm trying... trying... trying to click on that one ally who needs a heal in time. And back when lots of people were doing that 8 player version of Feast, some allies would run away from me and behind a wall at low health - yeah, that's not gonna workI play healer in PvP. Man those item level requirements for dungeons will be a nice addition. But today I was reminded of something else potentially needing it.
I got into the Dancing Plague Normal from roulette. (so a level 73 trial)
Dragoon in level 60-62 gear.
27K HP.
with the rest of the party being in the 50's 60's K.
...they did not survive any AoEs that happened...
and were aware of the gear being bad. But I'm guessing it's another round of "there's no way the duty finder will throw me into anything high level right?"
/sigh

Leveling white mage, got Dohn Mheg. Tank is in Ironworks gear.

Levelling roullete, The Vault.
Healer has a item level 35 weapon...
Yeah, no, bye.
