IIRC, monsters in Alliance Raid don't give Xp, so your whole gain is because of the roulettes.
In Dungeons, however, the Xp reward of monsters increases drastically with the level of the dungeon, to the point that's it meaningful even compared to the roulette reward, and frankly with more skills, higher dungeons don't automatically go slower.

Bosses give experience in the Alliance raids. Get something like Orbonne and most of your experience will come from that, not the roulette. The exp compensation works the same way for Alliance as it does for the other roulettes to even out the exp you get overall. Higher level duties give smaller roulette bonuses, but more exp from the duty; lower level duties give very little exp themselves but have much higher roulette bonuses to compensate.

Then you have weird stuff like Rathalos and Vishap that just give huge incentive bonuses for getting them in the roulette to keep people from dropping.

    Nope.

I prefer the higher level dungeons so I have more of my kit.

Also, the less I have to run Aurum Vale, Dzemael Darkhold, and Toto-rak, the better.

Pace of dungeons is similar due to the way syncing in them works.

Pace of Alliance Raids isnt. That and people still havent mastered "dont look" in world of darkness and wonder why they get wrecked in new raids when the easiest mechanic is "look a completely different direction than the one and a half you know how to".

I don't think people are going to lower their ilvl for dungeon roulette. The time to complete most is far more dependant upon the pugs you get then the content you get.

    Higher level dungeons award more.
Higher level dungeons don't lock you out of so many abilities.
Higher level dungeons are more fun.
You have to have an exceptionally bad group to get any dungeon you can not complete.

I am sure some people cheat their ilvl for alliance raids to get the best and most boring xp to time spent ratio they can, but I think they are the minority. My guess is that most of those who do are just looking to avoid groups that are unable to beat CID. There is no CID in dungeon roulette so I don't anticipate a problem.

To be fair, people also still haven't mastered "don't stand in the bad."

Or "don't stand in the poison."

Or "tie on the damn chains before he wakes up."

Or "kill the clouds before she eats them."

Or "don't stand in the bad again." (Yes, this has to be repeated. Again.)

I guess you forgot about 2nd boss of WoD, in which case you actually DO want to stand in the poison. (Or at least be sure someone else is)
