Some people think that since RDM didn't get any significant changes to its gameplay it somehow means that RDM is being ignored. One just needs to look at their recent post history to see that this poster subscribes to that belief.
"Exactly what i have been saying all along. Would not surprise if it is an exact repeat of Stormblood. Every job seen multiple changes before they even "looked" at Red Mage because apparently they think it has always been fine as it is."
"Why be patient though? The past has already showed itself that they care more for every other job. If it follows again, jobs will all see 1 or 2 changes, then they will "look" at RM."

I wish they listen for once DRK feedback properly and act in consequence to fix his Gameplay issues the same way they did with the dps, same for AST, WAR and SCH.

After looking at the Brd Song additions it gives me hope that they could still adjust the card effects for AST in a similar fashion. GIVE ME MY FLAVOUR BACK DAMNIT!!

I posted this before patch notes were out...
And i feel like it could have used more changes, but at least we are getting something and not ignored completely until like mid expansion like in Stormblood (ok slight exagerated i know)

And your point is? I am actually correct on my statement, but whatever believe what you will, lolSome people think that since RDM didn't get any significant changes to its gameplay it somehow means that RDM is being ignored. lol ok. Everyone quotes me from stuff i said well before patch notes were out.
My statement that you quoted could have very well held true because they were not showing any signs of Red Mage love, they talked about Nin, smn and other jobs.
Stormblood they had only made changes to Red Mage around September.
But is all good, i actually wanted improvements to acceleration which we will have, and potency buffs which was very much needed.

Regarding the "signs of Red Mage love", they even said in the Live Letter last week that they were going to buff RDM's "firepower considerably" alongside the Acceleration change which they had more fully detailed.lol ok. Everyone quotes me from stuff i said well before patch notes were out.

I dont feel like ranged feedback have been taken into account that much tho, outside of "give supportive effect to songs" (especially for the "selfish dps" mch). We'll still be missing quite a bit of damage to rival casters and melees, especially with the rdm/smn buffs. On top of being the only job that didnt get any ping problem recognition for years. But hey who knows, they can still do some late minute tweakings.
