GW2 actually has both of these items

Buying partial stacks and having the option to place buy orders is fantastic. Would love to see that added to this game somehow.

Nope. People will find the way to manipulate prices like Trade Post barons do in GW2 and the market will become the same mess it is there. No, thanks. I much prefer FFXIV's way.

A) Please make people buy from stack of 99 apples, "x" apples they want, instead of making people post the same item over and over in different stack size from, 1,2, 5, or maybe 99

^ This would reduce the space for items that players want to sell in retainer

I agree with your suggestion, but you should remember that by doing so SE eventually reduce their earnings from the extra retainers players hire.

I have to agree there. Placing buy orders would need to be implemented carefully to avoid the same results as the GW2 TP. Perhaps make the buy order visible only to the person placing it.

Would love to see partial stack purchasing though.
