... I needed to log out of the game and recover for a while. I am still not fully recovered, and don't think I can play PvP, or the game in general for a while.

Give us a method to note down the name of people who do that and report them, and then BAN THEM.

I recommend you read the ToS. Irrelevant of what it did to me in detail, this kind of behavior (insults and harassment) is 100% against ToS. And in many countries if I could get the IRL identity of such a perpetrator and file with the police they would get a 7am visit from some folks in uniform as it is an act of sexual harassment. "It's just a game/online" long has stopped being an excuse, and doesn't fly -- not in the light of ToS if they mean anything written there, and not even in the eyes of the law (of some countries). "Oh people just do it, can't ban them all" also doesn't fly, unless you want to scrap the ToS with that excuse.

To put the onus of the victim of harassment on top of that kind of excusing such despicable actions is really... special.

The fact that some people here normalize such behavior is both disgusting and terrifying.

I hope we will get a clear response from SE about the issue, since this is touching even criminal law in some countries, besides being against SE's own ToS no matter what from angle I look at it.

I am done responding here or even reading. This exchange has proven to me that this forum is so incredibly rife with people who have lost any moral compass or ethics that it is pointless to continue. Better to talk with SE directly and seek customer support rather than... this.

Just grow up, it is an online game a huge portion of people do these things. No game has stopped it in its entirety. They cannot ban every little act because it would not have a community anymore. This sounds more like a you issue then anything else. It sounds like you need to just stop playing if you cannot handle being online. Not squares job to wipe out every person you deem to be obscene. Learn and realize that it won't and cannot hurt you period. Come on the forums asking for the crap we already have. If all you have to complain about is getting emoted at in a video game I would say you have it pretty good. Flipping over and emote what a joke.
