I've tried to contact support so many times.

I know you can "go to an inn" to view cutscenes. But they all aren't there.

After a 30 minute queue for a low level roulette for a dps role, I get a pop-up! Hooray! Wait, but I have to change roles and I'm in the middle of good content. 'Skip the cutscene'? Well, no! I want to see it. Withdraw from the queue or wait til it expires? I freaking waited 30 minutes!!!

Is there truly no other option????

I've had the same issues on Twintania, being a DPS is tough nowadays..
People said that maybe you are queuing for something which isn't too popular, but the Daily roulettes should go always hand in hand with finding them instantly...

From my own perspective I can say that it's best to find a tank or a healer to get into them, time is shortened by a lot. So either a solo friend or possibly an FC if you'd be interested. Not sure if there is other workaround :<

Accept the duty
Do not finish the cutscene/Do not skip the cutscene

This will interrupt the cutscene so it replays once you're out of the duty.

What do you mean the cutscences aren't there? Are you just not finding the book, or are they not showing up in the menu? And yes, there is no other option. I know how that feels, but you have to learn to avoid story content when the expected wait time is almost up. I generally just level my crafting while I wait. If you're going to do story content, stop when the expected queue time is about two minutes away.

Sounding like not doing story content is the only option like Adonan said. And yeah, they aren't there. It's typically the smaller cutscenes transitioning to a bigger part of the story (like when you finish a big dungeon with a little end content)

The problem with this, it's when you're on a different job. I was doing the facet quests the other day as a crafter and I was mid-cutscene when the queue pop'd. ;(

That's a good thing to keep in mind. A bit frustrating but at least you can understand the system.

There are definitely still some things that look like cutscenes you'd find in the Unending Journey, with fancy camera angles and no HUD, but aren't available to rewatch. I don't understand what's going on but they must be programmed differently somehow.


For now, the best suggestion I can make is to be careful about doing story progress while queuing for roulettes. Often you can actually have that lower-level job equipped for accepting "mid-quest" objectives, and only need to have your higher-level job equipped for the final "quest complete" step, so you might want to try switching to your roulette-queue job before accepting any quest objectives.

Worst-case scenario, if you've missed a cutscene in-game, check the quest scripts on Garland Tools so you can catch up on the dialogue you missed (for unvoiced cutscenes only). It's not as good as seeing it, but better than missing it altogether.
