They already took some of the ambiguity out of hunting with the public spawn notifications. No reason for them to not go another step further and make their spawn windows publicly available knowledge as well.
It's not a requirement to post a kill time anywhere. I've quite frequently snagged a few solo skills just accidentally flying past an s while looking for my weekly mark and though sod it smack it while I'm here.... not then obliged to go and post somewhere just as I'm not obliged to shout out and spend the next 10 minutes waiting for other people who might be interested in joining...

If theres a problem with hunts I'd say it's in the predictable respawn windows more than anything. Make them more randomised. An S might spawn 30 minutes after it's been killed or 3 days. Problem solved...

The other issue is them being basically fates where any number of people can participate. It makes them a lot less interesting when it's just zerg it down quick and hope you get enough credit... limited participants might actually allow them to have mechanics and stuff...
