I think they went with the flying eye mount is because it's a lot easier than having to make a new mount from scratch, ie: have to animate it as well. That mount already exist, they only change the skin a little.

Common sense is not so common anymore.
While thats most likely the reason, the carriage probably wouldnt have needed much animation either - at least not as long as it would have been just the carriage as an inanimated object. Would have been enough to animate the wheels.

Yes I do agree actually. While I'm no animation expert, I did learned some animation basic and making 4 wheels rotate doesn't seems that hard.

I think that was the Arcanist questline, if I'm remembering it correctly. It dealt pretty boldly with the plot of sex slave trafficking? Could be wrong. Haven't had to do that entire questline for 4 or so years.

mmk...I am going to assume you guys are talking about the story that leads you to Haukke Manor. The lady of the house got her face destroyed during the calamity and ascians and other lunatics came along and suggested her to perform rituals to restore her beauty. One thing led to another and the rituals went too far and the lady of the house started involving herself with mutilating young women's faces as part of a ritual going terribly wrong. No rape stuff.
As for the arcanist quest, yea, they hint at the miqo lass about to be sold off as a slave. She got rescued by the guild master and started to cherish any grimoires he gave her and such.
... Not understanding what rape has to do with the event or mount but whatever...I am as excited as ever for this years All Saints Wake, woo!!
I would laugh if we got a makiced carriage as a mount from the Pixies beast tribe. I still look forward to this event and will complete it on both my characters when I get off work on the 17th.
Right before you get to the manor. You find a young woman's body who's face is bitten and ripped up. Then you fight that eye mob. From what I remember the text mentioned something about her body being abused and other things and all the people were young women. It seemed pretty much like they were raped and killed. The npcs react like that was the case. I don't have an ARC so I dunno what everyoen is talking about. But I'm talking about the MSQ towards the manor.
