"Hiiiii! I've kinda had too much rum to drink. BUT DON'T WORRY! Eos is on auto!"
*5 seconds later*
"ahahahahaha, just kidding!"
I open with Hello in autotranslate. B/c I love those little brackets and its also just 4 key presses. lol
I'll talk your ear off in groups after that if you'll let me, though.
Slash wave.
Yoshi-P is doing his best and is patching Endwalker. Please wait warmly until it is ready.
This is gonna sound weird but for some reason I don't want to duplicate a greeting?
So mine usually goes off a priority system of greetings I tend to favor which haven't been used by other party members yet.
Something like:
hey
heya
yo
hi
hello
I'll never use o/ though.
I don't know why it just doesn't sit well with me.
I'm actually the same way. Though if I'm feeling lazy or simply ran out of other things to say I will just type "o/" because why not. This is gonna sound weird but for some reason I don't want to duplicate a greeting?

I usually don't say anything unless I'm tanking, in which case I say "Apologies in advance."
"Hello, I'm auditioning for the role of Ser Aymeric de Borel, and I'll be singing Electric Chapel by Lady Gaga"
Good Evening! With auto translate because I play without keyboard. And then they usually replied with Good Morning cause they're on the other side of the world.
My greeting..
I am just here for punch and pie
Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!
