


I mean, that's what it does now, it just has a CD to it. Removing the CD on it means it becomes a high priority thing, above literally everything else as long as you can be sure you'll get the entire DoT duration out of it. As it stands now, it's essentially a dps cooldown that lines up nicely with No Mercy. Giving it no CD would either mean re-balancing it's damage to be lower than it currently is, or taking damage off of GNB's rotation elsewhere, because it would be a significant bump in damage just because of how strong a DoT is when it's able to run for full duration.


It's funny because in its current state, the only reason to use the regular combo would be to use the Charge combo. Burst Strike gives the mainline combo about 350 potency per, while SOnic is just 300 +90 first tick. A Gunbreaker spamming Sonic Break and using Bloodfest to cover the combo most of the time would probably only do about 6-8% less.
