Not sure whether to support or not. I'd prefer female hrothgar to actually look like they belong to their race, not just be Catgirls Two. Seeing how badly they messed up female au ra doesn't inspire much hope unfortunately.

This mirror my thoughts really. I don't wish a repeat of au'ra to happen to the missing genders. Hrothgar especially would just look so silly if they were nothing but taller miqote.
im sure they are well aware
since the whole reason of Hrothgar is to fill in a beast race niche
i dont think they would go back on that with female hrothgar
If they're smart, they'll make them look similarly to the female Ronso in FFX. Meaning still big, still bestial, still bulky (just less so).
If they do it before i die, i hope it looks more like the fanart to be honest
I do not hold out high hopes, but... I support it. We should have all genders. Same for male Viera.
I think this thread doesn't get as much attention because people who want female Hrothgar are mostly always in agreement in how they should look (whereas male Viera will always have people saying they should look this way or that): which is "please, for the love of the Twelve do not make them Miqo'te 2.0 PLEASE!"
No drama normally equals less attention.
While your concern is understandable, I don't think you should worry too much.
Female au ra strayed a bit from their concept art, but viera did not stray that far.
Since we already know what female ronso look like, the devs have something to go off of.

I don't think its just that. Hrothgar are just in general less popular than Viera (at least to play as). Hrothgar have less than 25k active players, while Viera have over 50k according to FFXIV census. Not that it makes them bad of course.I think this thread doesn't get as much attention because people who want female Hrothgar are mostly always in agreement in how they should look (whereas male Viera will always have people saying they should look this way or that): which is "please, for the love of the Twelve do not make them Miqo'te 2.0 PLEASE!"

Oh cool, my prediction that they would land somewhere between Elezen and scale-bois was correct. They're more played than the whole Roe race combined even, nice.I don't think its just that. But no, the reason the other thread is so big is because a hand full of obsessed fans had been repeatedly bumping it and double-triple+ posting in it and hitting post limits just saying nothing post in it since it started as a means to keeping it "alive". I use to watch that thread for fun, post something, go to sleep, wake up for work, check it before work starts and it would have like 15 new pages from the same 5 people lol.
Now that most all of those hand full have stopped posting or are posting way less it's slooooooowed waaaaaaaay down, going days without post and is now in the middle of being attacked by 2-3 people as it's main source for le drama.
It's a drama thread more than it is anything else. Be it gross non-stop infighting over if they should look like kids or feminine or manly or whining at people about lore or pushing fights with people who don't care for the idea.
