I queued into Sirensong Sea as Gunbreaker via Leveling Roulette, I noticed a Ninja with 15K HP. I examined his gear and saw the entire left side with the i200 unaugmented Ninja AF2 (and no, it's not glamoured.) In addition, his right side accessories are no higher than i148. The only good thing is his i255 HQ weapon. [The AST and DRG are geared well.]

I asked the Ninja is he had higher-leveled gear. He replied to me with "do u even care?"

That is the sign when I had to leave the dungeon and take the 30 minute penalty. Not going to carry an undergeared person who just does not care. I just did my beast tribe dailies during that penalty period.

I single pulled. I am a crazy healer that would try to heal through 100 mobs, but I'm not a crazy tank when I don't outgear the dungeon.

Side note: Those gremlins that put a slow debuff on can go fly a freaking kite.

~_~ no matter how much I used CDs, I was being murdered. I felt REALLY bad for the healer. I can only imagine how it'd be if I weren't using any. It kind of felt like going into Bardems Mettle for the first time where everything you use felt like they do absolutely nothing.

Discouraging.

I went through there on AST recently while leveling it. Definitely had a harder time on that than WHM, but granted, I wasn't in full ilvl 400 gear either. Was still doable, but there were times when I could do nothing but spam Benefic II towards the end of certain pulls. Think it just has to do with how solid the DPS are. I tend to wind up with randoms who only use single-target rotations, so a lot of mobs overstay their welcome.

So I'm at a crossroads between my 79 leveled Sam and my 52 mch. I enjoy mch more but since sam is so close to cap I'm leveling that atm. Is sam goign to have some buffs soon to make it more fun? Things like what they did to mch, as mch is way too good now. As far as fun factor anyway. I just don't know what I want to main. It's actually kindof making me sad.

Um, the discussion was about the hlr having problem keeping them healed, so out of these we have...

1) the hlr is either new or returning to the role after a period of time, and is just adjusting
2) the tank or healer is not near ilv 400
3) the tnk is pulling too many mobs
4) the hlr is distracted (netflix, phone, life, equiping items, dots, et cetera)
5) the tank is eating aoes, and telegraphed attacks (rhino dragons)
6) the hlr isn't equiped with melded gear
et cetera.

2) tank was in i400 as per their original post; dont know bout the healer
3) no such thing as too many mobs in holminster if the tank is in i400 and every one else is in at least 385 and doing their job
4) dont know
5) doubtful since they described not doing well despite their best efforts, probably includes dodging aoes
6) dont need to be melded to do a leveling dungeon lol

also you were claiming the tank wasnt using cooldowns or was improperly geared, which his original post stated he was in i400 and using cooldowns

Leveling roulette (lvl52 MNK) get Aurum Vale, 2 sprouts but no bonus, 2 wipes in first room, nbg, gotta tell DRK how to pull safest

DRK is getting dangerously low many times, trying to help with Mantra every time its off cd, I wonder if the faery is even out with the SCH, check DRK gear, nothing bad for that level, checkSCH gear, freaking pink lvl 28 book, NOT A SINGLE Illumination and ONE Whispering dawn before the LAST boss???? Idk if this was some RP shit, they had that icon on them...

I was so sorry for the tank and mentioned it's not him bc he ways dying and getting desperate, it's the (non existent) heals and bad book (I said we need better heals and that SCH should get a new book) but he was god knows why understanding of that

Also it's like ppl are not even trying on the 2nd boss, esp ranged seem to have no idea anymore how to dodge the attacks (not talking abt sprouts)

head, chest and feet are still equipped with the very first AF. You know, the stuff you get from doing your jobquest. In A Real Reborn. The ilvl45 stuff.

Ok, thats waaay worse than mine...also u get ilvl90 stuff when u do your last job quest??? Not that it would have made it much easier but still better than i45??

I don't get how ppl can be so lazy esp ppl with multiple classes, I would be ASHAMED to ever enter a dungeon undergeared like that
