Whelp it happened to me. Holminster Switch with a healer in 290 gear. Their entire left side was 290. But here's the dumb thing: their right side was 390 so they knew where to go. And here's the really dumb thing: healer boots drops and they passed. That's a big upgrade for you. The tank we had was great though. If he was paired with a decent healer, that would've been a smooth run.

Just finished Expert a bit ago. The most irritating run of Amaurot I ever got. Both DPS, and I do mean, both DPS, decided they wanted to tank, and sprinted ahead of me FOR. EVERY. SINGLE. MOB. I literally had to pop sprint or just pull before they reached the mob just so I could get aggro. I seriously considered either letting both of them die, or tell them to stop pulling ahead of me, but I just kept quiet and ended up pulling each mob before they reached it after the first boss. The healer wasn't much better, they kept me healed, but it was enough to keep me alive. Once I finished and left the dungeon, I checked to see where all three were from. All three were from Excalibur. One of the DPS did die during one of the mobs though, and I got some satisfaction from that, and making the mobs run all around to avoid attacks, which probably made the other DPS, a MNK, not happy, but I honestly didn't care about their positionals at that time.

To the group i had in AA last night at about 230am - sorry for my poor performance. If it seemed like i was falling asleep at the keyboard, thats because i was. I did my best to keep my rotation going both during AoE pulls and the bosses, but i know that was much sloppier then im capable of.

I queue up for Trials as DNC and land in Titan HM. Everything is going fine, one guy got knocked off but it’s whatevs. Titan is at 3% and we have 1LB bar so I decide it’s better late than never? I start it up but Titan throws down those AoEs at the same time so I interrupt my LB to move out.. except it didn’t stop? I moved a bit but then got animation locked, then exploded in the AoEs. Oh yeah, and it didn’t even hit Titan because I tried moving it got aimed in the opposite direction.

Just another for the "we need an ilvl for leveling dungeons"-pile:

Did my leveling roulette with my gunbreaker, got Siren Sea in progress. I enter and everything seems well enough - 16 minutes ellapsed, the party is just after the second boss, that seems fair and not if anything went horribly wrong.
Since I'm still new to gunbreaker, being only level 61 and not really sure what the issue was, I pull only one of the two groups that wait right after the second boss. Turns out that was the right call since the level 80(!) astrologian is already struggling to keep me up, despite me using cooldowns as best as I can.
I eventually die to the two dogs on the way to the last boss, again, despite me using cooldowns.

Since the healer is struggling so much I dont even really notice how slow everything is dying until we reach the last boss... after about 5 minutes into the fight and Lorely only being at 30% I look at the party-list and notice that our SMN has about half the HP they should have - 13k instead of the 26k the dancer is rocking. Maybe their gear broke, I think. Maybe they've been struggling more and died more than I first thought, I think. I should also take a look at their gear, I think... just in case...

...and jep, it is the case: head, chest and feet are still equipped with the very first AF. You know, the stuff you get from doing your jobquest. In A Real Reborn. The ilvl45 stuff. The weapon is a NQ-Kirimu-grimoire - thats an ilvl of 110 here. Therest of the gear is between 220 and 265. They also had multiple jobs at level 80, including both other casters aswell as most melee-dps.

I just really, really wish I'd noticed before because I'd rather left straight away again instead of finishing this dungeon.
I get that people dont keep their gear updated, hoping they'll just end up in Sastasha again - or expecting to just end up in Sastasha again - and to a degree I'm guilty of that myself (my gunbreaker is still wearing parts of the gunbreaker-starter-set because I ran out of poetics, but thats a difference of 15 ilvls...) but man... wearing stuff at level 62 that would have been bad at 52 is crossing a line...

Got bitched at for using the MCH LB on the first trash pull between boss 2 and 3 of Akademia Anyder (Lv80 dungeon). Both the tank and the BLM complained that saving for the last boss was totally a better tactic, with the tank going so far as to claim that the boss hit harder than large trash pulls, so it should obviously be saved for the boss fight. You're the one getting hit dude, do you seriously think bosses hit harder than large pulls? Are you nuts?

Healer stayed silent, but I left with 1 comm, so I assume it was them. Vindication.
