in reference to skipping id like to see a single esc key auto skip, not esc esc confirm. someone shuold make a thread on that![]()

I would think in the configuration they could have a "do not repeat cutscenes" option, like they do in the regular numbered FFs.

I have my own choco and I use the summon personal choco from inside the city to get out.Once you actually get your Chocobo, you never have to watch that cut scene again.
As for the Elevator, Airship, and the like cut scenes, those are often used to mask parts of loading screens (sort of like the elevators in Metroid Prime). However as some of them do crash the game for some people, a toggle shouldn't be out of the question.
Now as for people calling me a moron for asking that the CS's be removed and yet liking the idea of a toggle switch please note I suggested the toggle switch...
In regards to the stability of the game I am sure SE is working to improve this but wont be able to fully do so until 2.0. However removing these CS or having a toggle is a temp solution until then.

Actually, it's mostly to mask other players using the elevator- so that nobody else has to wait for the elevator to go up/down before they can use it. Technically the polys for the upper/lower level need to start being drawn but this only takes an instant. More meaningful cutscenes please. Less work on vanity/pointless items and animations.
The CS crashes happen to everyone if you haven't had one happen to you then your one of the very few.
