    That's...literally on your side. The only ways a password can be wrong is if you changed it and didn't remember changing it, someone got ahold of your account and changed it, or you simply just typed it wrong. Have you tried typing your new password in a random file/location on your computer, and then just copy/pasting it when you log in?

    This is a thing yes, if you use a keyboard you could be typing it wrong and not even know you're doing it. If you're using a mechanical keyboard some can come with less then great cheap switches that wear out fast. I went though two Corsaire keyboards in a year due to cheap switches. They got worn and started ghosting inputs of frequently used keys. Like I would press the T or R or other keys once and suddenly "tttt" or "rr" would be entered. Try doing a keyboard test. Open up a notepad file and test all the keys and see if you get any multiple inputs or no inputs at all.
