No it is not unfair just as the Ozoma and savage mounts are not unfair. Some folks play pvp, others go for PVE. And each comes with its own rewards.

Im curious about this exploitation. Could you tell more about it?

I'm not sure if it's an exploit and more like the situation that happens with nearly every single MMO in regards to PVP. Anyway, people will throw matches. Pay them to throw the match, raise your rank, get the mount.
Anyway, I could see it for the top 100 mounts - but I wouldn't give them out for anything other than PVP. I feel that the old mounts should be cycled back in and bought with some currency earned by farming ranked. Not a lot of people will agree though, as it's prestigious to have those mounts and makes the account who has them more 'expensive.'
I've heard that there are actually people who run entire teams of bots in Feast that are programmed to throw any games where they get matched against the players who are paying them off.
Sad as it is, a team of bots can actually be scary in the Feast due to how insanely precise their focus-firing is. If you actually know you're dealing with bots, though, their dodgy pathing can be exploited to all heck.

The eternal bond items are unfair to those who aren't bonded /dab
But in all seriousness this is just silly. They're reward items to show off your accomplishments. Same with that PvP achievement armour.
I'm honestly surprised they haven't made an off-color version of each PvP mount, or given us PvP armor that wasn't dyable. A lot of the PvP gear looks really good, and I feel like it's wasted on just PvP top 100.
How is it exploitable? Because a handful of people win trade? Yikes
I am pretty sure this has never happened in the entire history of FFXIV PVP. DO you have any sources? Or are you just spouting nonsense? Win-trading? Sure, some people have done it, those are the same types who buy/sell clears, they are a minority, and don't happen as often as your misinformation says it does. Please stop spreading unconfirmed, biased information, all it does is hurt the community as a whole.I've heard that there are actually people who run entire teams of bots in Feast that are programmed to throw any games where they get matched against the players who are paying them off.

Exactly what part of winning matches to climb rank during a feast season is rigged? I worked my ass off, and so did many others, every season we played. Don't throw everyone who honestly tries into the same 1% pool of win-traders, it's rude.

If you're going to give everyone rewards without doing content then why even bothering doing it then?
Hell people who do PvP should be given more rewards knowing how shitty PvP in this game is
