This marks first time I caught up to date with FF XIV story.

As for expansion - I loved almost every single thing about it. Music, characters, fact that Wol wasnt forced to fight every fight and other scions (thancred) get to show they can figth too, it all was amazing.

Emet was quite likable vilian, Feo turned out to be pretty funny and likeable too (when I first saw her, I feared she will be annoying) and Ardberd was true bro. I wish I could share a drink or two with him, but cosnidering his... conditions... it might be problematic.

Only thing I didnt like was Ran'jit. I assume he was supposed to pose threat to our group, but he felt... forced. Like his only purpose was to kick our asses this one time, then almost do it again, and then lose. He felt like inferior Zenos.

PS. I need Feo Ul minion.
PS2. Is it just me, or Dragoon's lv 80 helmet looks very simlar to the one from Berserk armor from Berserk manga?

Ran'jit was a weirdo. There's a good deal of exposition about why villains do the things they do, even in Shadowbringers, but it felt really awkward with him.

Ryne: No, Ran'jit, I won't go back to Eulmore.
Ran'jit: How dare you? After all of the years I spent training you to fight Sin Eaters, only to become disillusioned with the whole affair after you kept dying and decide to join up with them instead because of man's capricious nature, this is how you repay me?

It feels like that in every scene he's in. It would help if he was allowed to do something other than be "badass old guy who knows magic dragon kung-fu". Show some vulnerability once in a while or something.

I got the impression he was a character from the development of Stormblood that they couldn't fit into the story so they used him in Shadowbringers even though he didn't slot in neatly.

I can't help but remember the random solo duty against those werewolf people (who never show up again, as I recall) right before the Ala Mhigo dungeon. Maybe he was meant to go there.
