Get real. At that level you're talking about like 1 VIT and maybe 5 defense at best. It's irrelevant.

This is bad practice, and no less from a tank who's already got a level 80 DRK.
We can just you know, not stress the wee bit of healers we got left in this game.
But on the same coin, the healer was also in the wrong.
She was grieving him honestly, by choosing not to heal him. If he reported, she would have gotten in trouble.

My judgement was they were both in the wrong.
We really need to stop this fire with fire nonsense.

I got to see the mythical GNB drops health, WHM uses Benediction two seconds before the GNB uses Superbolide shenanigans yesterday.

Had this too today, with me as the protagonist on GNB. Was running Mentor Roulette, got Mt. Gulg and on one of the bigger pulls I was low on Health for a while so I decided now would be a good moment to pop SB. Well, the WHM had the same idea for Bene so thinks happend and we shared a laugh after the pull in groupchat.

Superbolide trolling

Poping Superbolide after Benediction happens mostly because WHM don't trust/expect GNB to use their invul, or GNB don't trust/expect their healer to Bene when their invul is up. It happened to me multiple times, too, even with a static member as healer. They said they were not used to GNB using their invul at all... guess that goes for the majority of healer. Superbolide should be used in your mitigation rotation if possible, otherwise it's wasted.

But popping it everytime it is available despite no threathing incoming damage or anything equal, is either ignorance or flat-out trolling.

If I know a big pull is coming, I just tell the healer beforehand.

"Gonna superboner this pull, feel free to ignore me 'til I hit 1"

(obviously this isn't apply to the recent examples, since they weren't in a dungeon)

If I plan to use SB on the next pull I do indeed tell the healer beforehand. But sometimes you need to improvise - like when you are running out of CDs and you are on low HP anyway. And in this situations I don't have the time nor the ability to announce it in chat first while I 'm taking multiple autoattacks and having to act fast.

Kefka today. The other tank asked if I wanted MT or OT. I said, "I can MT." The fights going along. He does the donut where I have to stand in the AoE. I run back and off the board. I just stared at the screen for a minute. I've been playing for like five years and the fight itself is like a year and a half old. And I just ran off. If I wasn't in shock, I would've made a joke about that's what happens when they take away our Awareness.

Had the strangest bard today on a stone vigil run.

My friend decided to level up his monk and I partied him as ast. We queue up and get a drk and brd. Both seemed to be geared for the dungeon, and the bard had shire/alexander gear. The start seemed normal, mobs facing party, though I notice something strange.

The bard kept spamming Venomous Bite and Windbite on all mobs, then followed up with Raging Strikes and Barrage and Second Wind, and maybe auto-attacks. I thought at first it was fat-fingering until we get up to the first boss and I realize he was serious about this. He also didn't move for Swinge and died while I was healing the tank. At this point I sighed and started giving dps cards more and more to the tank and my friend.

This kept going up until almost the second boss when I kindly point out that once you pop a dot on a mob, there's no need to spam it and just go ham with aoe's. Second boss takes longer as he's still not using any songs to up his dps output, on top of standing behind the tank when the second boss was spewing fire...and never moving from that spot. I start to get a little irate and think maybe this person's a bot, and at this point I still can't votekick the brd for trolling since no one else had rolled on loot. We finally round the corner and I finally ask if the brd knew how to brd. His response was 'I need to fix my rotation'. wat? I told him to go look up the ShB changes that came with brd, as his continued Windbite spam with no songs at all was getting very old.

Third boss he stood in aoes and didn't move much, and he still never used a single song as I never heard one ever go off. Still uses the bite spam with Raging Strikes/Barrage+Second Wind with auto-attacks between bite spam. The boss goes down and once the tank and my friend leaves, he lingered for a bit until I left. I just, that bard...Twelve almighty please bro read your tooltips and don't use macros if that's what you were doing. Go practice on a training dummy before you pull that sort of stunt again.

Edit: Ok being serious now.

Castrum F(because Im not going to try to spell it). I believe that fan mechanic she does is basically run to the first one that lands and then run to the middle when it does it thing. There's plenty similar mechanics like that, but for some reason people have a hard time with this. People were just running to random ones and confusing me, and the ones with stack markers were all alone and we just die. The only one that got the hint, didn't run to the middle. oops

And tank couldn't keep still, turning her in random directions for no reason and cleaving people -.-.

I guess to be considerate, on her "last phase" I guess, she unloads pretty much all of her mechanics during that fan mechanic, except the "Moon" mechanic, so I guess that makes people panic.

So, uh... I was the idiot yesterday. Decided to do some Eden NM again on all 3 of my healers because bored. A few highlights of those runs consisted of me on WHM straight-up running off the platform on Voidwalker, not getting out of the way when Leviathan destroyed the middle of the platform, and consistently getting flattened by Titan on SCH. I don't know what was wrong with me, my single brain cell probably decided to take a nap or something.
