Is there any way to found a free company completely solo?

I personally think it's easier to just pay an extra £/€ a month and get another retainer but each to their own. The cynical person in me thinks you're just asking in order to get FC housing on your server before they all vanish to personal housing in (perhaps) a couple of weeks but it's not my business

As others state, just get a few people willing to help, they can help create your FC and can just leave afterwards. Compensate them for their 10 minutes and you'll probably get it done quite quickly.

Well, I AM actually about to buy an additional retainer today. The other reason as to why I want to found my own FC, besides having an additional storage because I am a hoarder in games and I'm going for the omnicrafter, is to stop the FC invites I've been getting from other people. 2 birds with 1 stone.

Nope, I can assure you that, even if it is possible for a newly made one-person-FC to do so, nicking a large house which could be bought by a sizeable FC that really deserves having one is the last thing I'd do. I'll buy my own small house when the personal housing comes up.

Nah, sadly not. Not unless you have a friend who is willing to create alts for you to just get past the creation bit and therefore you only need 1 person.

Hopefully not cause any offence with my cynical view, there is a LOT of complaints with housing recently and people looking to bypass limitations is a regular occurrence.

I also think you were the person who was on the light data centre and had an unpleasant experience? Hopefully the dark side is proving better for you but I'd wager as you are looking into making a small/single player FC it's not much better for you but at least more tolerable to the point you're happy to settle.

Yes, that was me I believe. It was back in Louisoix. I joined a certain FC shortly after I'd shared my experience on Chaos DC. The FC seemed cool, but I personally felt lost in it and after the 2 new servers were announced I decided to start anew on a different DC. I still have to fill a report about some of the players' behaviour every so often, maybe even more often than o Chaos? Anyway, I think it was just a matter of me caring too much about what others say.

To be completely honest, people tend to bore me, so I'm totally fine by playing on my own. One day when I reach 80 lvl in every battle and crafting class and see everything the game has to offer, I'll maybe then join some guild.

As for now I'm okay with having a solo FC. I'd create the FC with the help of a friend like you said, but I don't have any in the game, so I'll just shout a quick message in the city to invite those 3 players to just sign the petition and pay them some gil.

I've heard it said, for this purpose at least, that as long as your FC application has made it to the "requires signatures" step, despite being listed as not in a FC, nobody will be able to send you any invites.
So, that, at least, can be accomplished solo.
