Leave alone playing trusts on a dps, playing it on healer is like taking to the party players with below 10% percentile, its really bad. X_X

I am not the one you quoted but I am also someone that will level the rest of my jobs with trusts to 80 (and doing the roulette once per day). I just dont like playing with random players. Since I started getting all jobs to 80 a few weeks ago I also done quite a bit of roulette and the amount of bad players, toxic players and more really annoyed me so being able to then finally going back to just doing it with NPC in my own pace and without all that will be heaven. Of course I also had great runs but for me the bad ones were far more.

I already leveled most of it with squadrons and even though they can be pretty bad and caused me some wipes its still less annoying than playing with randoms. And again I can do it at my own pace. So if I want to go fast I will pull more and if not I will just pull less. Or if I am the healer if I dont feel like it I can just afk for most of the trash pulls and just casts some spells when its necessary...I would not do that with randoms because I would increase the time for all of us...

About OP: I did not even know that you cant rescue them. Strange that this isnt possible but maybe this would mess up their programming? (But wouldnt death do that too?)

If you play with the twins Alphinaud will prioritise healing Alisaie over you - I died once because of that #Feltbadman

Yeah you cant if you try it's a miss... lol I tried to troll thancred with rescue while using the trusts to lvl whm it sadly didnt work. And what was even sadder was I didnt get to have a good laugh with it. Suffice it to say Alphinaud and Urianger do not use rescue at all and the one time it was used by Urianger was during a msq quest to nope Ranjit...

You can use shirk on the trusts though.

Edit: I've gotta share this... I'm right now at 7:21 am using alphinaud in the well... and I'm watching his white carbuncle... after every attack... it scratches itself... alphinaud needs to give white carby a flea bath!!!!!

Why on earth would you waste your time as a healer in trust instead of go playing with humans?

Leveling with trusts might not be the fastest way, but in my case it helps me to get back into a class I haven't touched for a long time and also with a class I'm not confident with.

The trust NPCs seems to have unique abilities that they use randomly. I've seen Thancred use Shukuchi, Alphi uses his 'Release', I think Y'shtola casts some kind of giant tornado, I also caught Ryne about to cast something but the mob died before she could get it off and hasn't used it since lol. Maybe someone here can help me here with what she ultimately does.

Also amuses me why some on this thread have questioned why run this as a healer. Sure it's not the optimal way of levelling yourself or the trust NPC's due to there being 3dps, 2healers, 1tank, but not everyone is obsessed with optimal gameplay. Many people just want something to do as right now, there isn't a lot of casual Shadowbringers content. Will change in a few weeks I'm sure.

As for being able to rescue the npc's, I'm unsure if that the way the battles are scripted, is it possible for them to recover from a random action such as rescue?

Sometimes I feel like the scions are basically that bad player you get who isn't really doing anything wrong mechanically, so you don't really have much of a reason to kick them, it's just that their rotation sucks and they don't aoe so they make the dungeons a lot longer.

Oh! I dunno if it’s been mentioned but Thancred will only do his Continuation move set if Ryne is in the party, he’ll have a dialog bubble saying “Ryne, the cartridges” every time he does it.

I use the trust a lot and I kind of wish I could use my squad. They failed mechanics too but they were also OP. Dungeons runs would be so much faster.
