This seems to be some kind of new trend. I'm getting those in expert over the last two weeks quite often and it is not funny.

Yeah they are called dps players.They main dps but use tank to get fast queue in ex roulette or they leveled dark or gunbreaker because it looked cool.
There's been a resurgeance of those kind of darks especially with the latest expansion theme fitting the job.

I had a fun Expert. After the first mobs. I pulled all the way to the boss. The healer was like, "That was smooth. Went better than expected." I think the healer and DRG were together. They were cracking jokes and making the whole thing fun. We get the first boss. Healer dies to the second meteor. Which is kind of dumb because they were with the party. So we all should've died or they should've been fine. We beat the boss. And they're like, "Who needs a healer? Not you guys!" The rest of the run was pretty uneventful. Until we get the third area. The DRG jumps from the teleporter and the boss in the background is already casting its AoE and the DRG lands right into it. Even when it's scripted and out of their control DRGs get screwed by animation lock. And then during the fight, during Apocolypsisis they jump when it's over and promptly fall off. Poor DRG.

And during my weekly Edens I had a moment that made me feel dumb. There was another WAR for 2. They MT'd. And during the double tank buster they Nascent Flashed me. And I selfishly used Raw Intuition. It never accord to me to use it on the other tank. I just used it for selfish healing during big pulls. But yeah, after that we started Flashing each other. And if I was OT, I'd use it during busters.

Almost wiped to the second boss of Baelsar's Wall because the healer kept dpsing instead of healing. I'm down to 9k hp, boss is casting launcher and oh what a surprise I'm dead. If you're going to dps make sure to actually make sure people won't die to UNAVOIDABLE damage.

Yeah, there were a slew of those early into Heavensward, when DRK was first added. Most of the time they'd keep Darkside off and either not use CDs or use all of them at once.
Now they're back.

Wow. When was the last time anyone saw a wipe on Livia in Castrum Meridianum? Both healers were taking turns not bothering to heal throughout the entire instance, then apparently both decided to take a break at the same time. And then someone else who'd died and run back found a pair of colossi that hadn't been killed and dragged them in, too. It did not go well.

I had that happen too. I think I was on my sum, trying to heal when they didn't. ... or maybe that was another wipe on liva.

What's wrong with that? More embarrassing to watch half afk Ast or Ast not using their cards.
